Heath Toffee Chocolate Trifle
Looking for a sweet dessert that is easy to make and delicious to eat? My Heath Toffee Chocolate Trifle is a show stopper with its many layers of chocolate pudding, devils food cake and whipped topping. Garnished with a layer of Heath Toffee Bits and whipped topping, this chocolate trifle is inexpensive and serves a crowd easily.
This is an adopted recipe from a family member that I have been making for quite a few years. I have only a few recipes that fit the bill when it comes to making something for a potluck. Once brought to our Christmas potluck at work, I caught someone licking my trifle bowl! Yes, it’s that good! I’ve had people line up for dessert first when my Heath Toffee Chocolate Trifle is set out amongst the table of desserts. I am happy to share this recipe with you and hope it pleases your crowd as much as it does mine.
Putting this delectable dessert together is easy! The longest part would be the time it takes to bake the devils food cake. Here are the ingredients. You can find and print the recipe card for my Heath Toffee Chocolate Trifle at the bottom of this post.
Ingredients:
- 1 box of your favorite brand Devils Food Cake
- 2 of the family size boxes of chocolate pudding
- 1 large tub of whipped cream topping
- 1 bag of Heath Toffee Bits ( I tried the Heath Toffee & Chocolate Bits for this particular recipe and it was perfect!)
Follow the instructions on the box to prepare the cake mix and chocolate pudding. A glass bowl would be the perfect serving dish because it shows off the layers of the cake, pudding and whipped topping making it a show stopper on the dessert table.
Watch me put it together in my very first YouTube Video!
