Lemon Butter Green Beans

One of my most favorite side dishes for the holidays includes green beans. Green bean casserole, green beans with toasted almond slivers and now a new recipe! Lemon butter grean beans using Young Living Lemon Vitality essential oil. Served alongside ham or turkey for the holidays or as a weeknight side with grilled chicken or steak; lemon butter green beans offer a fresh approach to a traditional vegetable. This recipe is super easy and will only take minutes to prepare. Lemon butter green beans are quick to prepare, easy to make and delicious to eat!

Lemon Butter Green Beans

What you will need: 

1 pint green beans, stem ends trimmed
1 tablespoon coarse salt, plus more for seasoning
2 tablespoons butter
2 drops Lemon Vitality
Freshly ground pepper to taste

Prepare:

Fill a medium (3-quart) saucepan three-quarters full of cold water.
Set over high heat, and bring to a boil. Add salt and beans.
Cook until water returns to a boil and beans are tender, 4 to 5 minutes. Remove from heat, and drain.
Immediately return beans to saucepan.
Add butter and Lemon Essential Oil. Toss.
Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve warm.
