Turkey Injection Sauce

Looking for a better way to flavor your Thanksgiving or Christmas turkey this year? How about trying a injection sauce? This recipe is great for prepping a turkey 2-3 hours before cooking and infuses tons of flavor. Infuse the flavors of Oregano Vitality, Thyme Vitality, Lemon Vitality,  and Black Pepper Vitality with this Turkey Injection Sauce recipe using essential oils from the Young Living Vitality line of oils.

Turkey Injection Sauce

You will need: 

4 tablespoons butter
1 cup chicken broth
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 drops Oregano Vitality
2 drops Thyme Vitality
4 drops Lemon Vitality
2 drops Black Pepper Vitality
1 teaspoon salt

Prepare: 

Melt butter in a small saucepan.
Add remaining ingredients, except the salt. Mix well.
Add salt until mixture has a slight, but not overpowering salt flavor.
Remove mixture from heat and allow to cool enough to work with and load into meat injector. About 5-6 minutes.
Using a hypodermic needle or baster-injector, inject the broth into the turkey, concentrating mainly on the breast 2-3 hours before roasting or frying.
