I have tried many things to get organized. Some methods work some of the time and others are a big fat flop that leave me worse than when I started until I found a course that covered 5 rooms in 7 days! I can not believe how easy this system was to implement and I now have the whole family on board when it comes to cleaning the house. 5 rooms in 7 days, are you up for the challenge? I am sure you are sitting in a room right now that could use a bit of tidying up.
Make a DIY Umbrella Stand. This project is super simple, took about 10 minutes to put together, costs about $5 or FREE (if you already have the supplies) and will last for a long time. I think my favorite part of this DIY Umbrella Stand is how portable it is!
There are so many products on the shelves these days that make it easy for little hands to dye Easter eggs. I’ve tried many of them in the past and always seem to come back to family traditions which include our old plastic shower curtain used as a floor mat for crafts, a few small plastic cups, white vinegar, Kool-Aid packs of our favorite flavors, a plastic spoon and of course real eggs!
One problem we have is keeping our baby plants watered. We were using the clunky watering cans with the long spouts and big handles but they were not easy to manage for my kids. I think I might have solved that problem as I was getting ready to recycle yet another milk jug at the end of last week. What if I reused the milk jug? Check it out as we make a kid friendly watering can using a milk jug!

I didn’t expect much from my clearance romaine lettuce until I took it home and did this. Now we have a neat project for the kids to enjoy along with salad that will grow back in our garden!
